My new childhood was AWESOME!! My new family treated me well and got me chubby. They thought that if you were skinny you would end up as an alcoholic and you would be weak, but obviously that’s not true. I had a house in NJ and a apartment in the Bronx. I thought we were rich, because my dad owns the buildings we were living in and everyone seemed to know him. It’s nice how they started a better life after leaving Puerto Rico.
I spend the weekends in NJ and came back to the Bronx on the weekends because I go to school there. My parents go to NJ to visit their children and grandchildren. They even go to church in NJ because there is no other place my parents rather be than their own neighborhood church.
